Each decoration is a bauble with an Aussie animal cut out of the middle. The 4-pack gets you one of each animal. The 8-pack gets you two of each. Pick a colourway, or go Lucky Dip and we'll choose for you.
How it's made
The lids come to us through BRAD, the Banish Recycling and Diversion Program. The Banish team sorts and cleans them by hand. Then they're shredded, then pressed into shape at our workshop at Central Station, Sydney. Every bauble comes out a little different, depending on the lids that went into it.
Why it matters
A decoration you'll hang every year beats one that's in the bin by January. These ones give bottle top lids a second life, and they're a good way to start a chat about recycling over Christmas lunch.

Most Christmas decorations are snowmen, reindeer and fir trees. Lovely, but not very Australian. So we made our own. An echidna, a koala, a kangaroo and a kookaburra, each one cut into a bauble made from recycled bottle top lids. The lids come to us through BRAD, the Banish Recycling and Diversion Program, and the decorations are made by our team at Central Station in Sydney. Because every batch of lids is different, the colours swirl a little differently in every bauble. Hang them on the tree, give a set as a gift, or keep one koala just for yourself.
