Corporate Team Building

Are you part of a corporate team looking to give back to the community while fostering team bonding? Consider partnering with the BRAD program for a corporate team building experience! BRAD corporate team building sessions run differently than our community sessions with an even stronger focus on education, demonstrations and a hands on experience for the whole team.
To learn more about our corporate team building opportunities and to express interest, please fill out this form. If your workplace would also like to collect hard-to-recycle items year round, the BRAD Pre-Paid Mega Box is built for offices, schools and community groups.
Volunteering elsewhere
Express your interest through the form here, and we'll get in touch with you with upcoming opportunities if we expand into your area.
Join us in making a difference through the BRAD program! Together, we can create a cleaner, greener future for all.
Volunteering FAQs
1. Can my work team join a community volunteering session?
We've created a full corporate volunteering program for offices and larger groups, we're happy for 2-3 people to come from one office but larger groups need to organise a dedicated session.
2. Can you bring kids to volunteering sessions?
We're eager to educate the next generation but right now you can't bring your kids along to volunteering sessions. Every school holidays we run programs for kids so please keep an eye out for them here.
3. What do I bring to a sorting session?
Please wear closed in shoes, bring a reusable water bottle and all of your BRAD items to recycle from home. Wear something comfortable as you'll be moving around a lot and on your feet for a lot of the session.
Packing your items ahead of time? It is worth reading what BRAD does and doesn't accept first. You will also need a BRAD Sydney Drop-Off to cover the cost of recycling the items you bring in, or a BRAD Pre-paid Label if you would rather post them.
4. What do you do in a community volunteering session?
So glad you asked! We have two different types of sessions:
Standard sessions: involve opening up the incoming BRAD boxes and sorting them into the different waste streams. Here is an example.
Lids sessions: in these sessions you'll be helping to sort the bottle top lids by the type of plastic and colour. We will also focus on washing the lids and preparing the for shredding.
If you have any other questions please email brad@banish.com.au, we look forward to seeing you soon!
Recycle this with BRAD
Volunteering is one way to help, and sending in your own hard-to-recycle items is another, so bring along the bits your council bin will not take and we will sort them here in Sydney.
