BRAD Pre-paid Label

Did you know that just 9% of plastic gets recycled in Australia? We want to change that. Introducing an easier way to recycle your hard-to-recycle items with BRAD. Save money and time with BRAD Prepaid. All you need to do is purchase a return, let us know when you're ready to send off your parcel and we will send you a postage-paid label.

What you'll get:

• Your postage paid for a BRAD parcel to be returned within Australia via Australia Post
• A $15 voucher to spend at Banish (minimum spend $50)

Choose your format

• Digital: No extra cost, you will be able to access the label online for you to print it
• Printed: There will be a $3 additional cost for us to print the label and post it to your address

Choose your size

Feedback from our household recyclers is that they want to send in larger boxes less frequently. So now you can pick your size. 

• Regular: is the standard size of a shoe box and weighs up to 2kg
• Medium: is the standard size of a carton of beer box and weighs up to 4kg

You can use this calculator to determine the cubic size of your box.

If your parcel is less than 2kg but large in size, you will need to purchase a medium label. 

If your parcel is heavier than 2kg but small in size, you will need to purchase a medium label.

Parcels sent using BRAD that are too big will incur an additional fee. If you would like to send in a large collection on behalf of a community group or office you can find out more here.

BRAD Subscriptions:

• Simply subscribe to your preferred frequency, monthly, quarterly (3 months) or half-yearly (6 months) and we will automatically email you a postage-paid label.
• This means that there's no need to fill out the form to book your BRAD label making it even easier!
• You can cancel, pause or change the frequency at any time.

What can you recycle with BRAD

We don't discriminate which is why we're offering recycling for all brands and products not just the ones sold on Banish. Here's a list of what you can recycle via the program.

How it works:

1. Simply purchase a BRAD collection online for $15, this includes postage and the cost of recycling your items. Once you have purchased a label you will receive an email with a form, (if you have not received this email within 2 hours of purchasing please email info@banish.com.au)

2. When you're ready to send your box back, fill out the form that has been emailed to you.

3. In 2-4 business days one of our BRADies will send you a postage-paid label, then wack the label on and place on a box and pop into a red Australia Post box.

4. Your parcel gets picked up and you can track it all the way back to us. You will also instantly receive your BRAD voucher so no need to include a slip of paper inside the box.

What this means for you

- In many cases, you will save on the cost of postage with many of our recyclers paying more than $15 in postage right now

- You can place your collection in a red Australia Post box - no lining up required!

- As soon as a collection is booked you will receive your voucher, no more waiting around!

- The program was originally 100% funded by the use of the recycling vouchers, whilst this will continue it won't be our only way of financially supporting the program so you shouldn't feel pressured to use it

- If you don't have access to a printer you can still purchase one of these labels, then you just need to head to one of these locations to print it out

What this means for BRAD

- The $1-3 we receive from every parcel will go straight towards funding and growing the program

- We will be able to forecast the number of parcels coming in to organise the right number of BRAD sorting sessions and stay on top of the mountain. Right now we receive between 1,000-1,200 parcels per month.

Why not go to the post office yourself?

Recycling these items in Australia takes time, space and money. The products that we accept aren't made from materials that are easy to recycle so have to be sent to specialty centres. By purchasing a postage-paid label you're allowing Banish to take $1-3 per sale and put it towards the cost of recycling these items, plus you'll save on the price of postage.
