Our Recycled Plastic Star Garland is a colourful, planet-friendly decoration that’s as fun to make as it is to display. Each kit includes 10 recycled plastic stars, made from around 50 bottle tops diverted from landfill, and 2 metres of natural jute twine.

The garland comes unassembled, giving you the joy of creating your own design. Whether you hang it across a mantle, on the Christmas tree, or in a child’s bedroom, this garland adds a burst of colour and purpose to any setting.

Assembly Instructions

How to Build Your Star Garland

1. Lay out your stars: Arrange the stars in your preferred colour order on a flat surface.

2. Cut your twine (optional): If you’d like a shorter garland, trim your jute twine to your desired length.

3. Thread the twine: Using a large needle or by hand, carefully thread the jute through the pre-cut holes at the top of each star.

4. Space evenly: Leave around 10–15cm between each star (or closer if you prefer a fuller look).

5. Secure the ends: Tie a small loop at each end of the twine for easy hanging.

6. Hang and enjoy: Display your garland on a wall, Christmas tree, or window to add a touch of sustainable sparkle.

Tip: For a layered look, make multiple garlands and hang them at different heights.
