The Story

This Card Holder Used to Be 5 Bottle Tops

Every day, thousands of bottle top lids slip through kerbside recycling and end up in landfill or our oceans. Through the BRAD programme (Banish Recycling and Diversion), we collect these hard-to-recycle lids, sort them by colour, and hand-press them into something useful right here in Sydney.

The result? A durable, lightweight card holder that carries your office swipe, transport card, or event badge, while carrying a bigger story about what recycling can look like when we do it properly.

From Bottle Top to Card Holder in 3 Steps

Bottle top lids are collected through the BRAD programme from households and businesses across Australia.

Sort

Lids are sorted by colour and plastic type (HDPE and PP) at our Sydney workshop. No added dyes needed.

Inject

Using our in-house injection machine we spin our arbour press into our custom mould to make each card holder.
