BRAD Impact Report FY25-26

Six years ago, the Banish Recycling and Diversion Program (BRAD) started in our founder Lottie's backyard, with 3 shoeboxes of recycling and a few friends.

Fast forward to now, and we're proud to share our FY 25-26 Impact Report with some of our biggest achievements yet!

Here's what we've achieved together over the past year. 

We've crunched the numbers. 

Over the past 12 months, BRAD recycled more than 1.6 million items and kept a whopping 10.9 tonnes of tricky household waste out of landfill. 

We also clocked a massive recycling milestone! Since BRAD began in 2020, we're recycled more than 4.2 million blister packs through the program with your help. 

Behind every one of those numbers is a household, individual, school or community group that decided the effort was worth it. 

All of this wouldn't have been possible without the help of our incredible volunteers, the support of our community, and the everyday people who use BRAD and believe there should be a better option than just the red bin.

No matter how you've participated in or supported BRAD - thank you. We wouldn't have been able to do this without you, and we can't wait to keep making an impact for years to come.
