At Banish, we're on a mission to help Australians live more sustainably. We believe in the power of education and action, which is why we not only offer eco-friendly products but also run the Banish Recycling and Disposal Program (BRAD) to help tackle hard-to-recycle items. As we approach the busy holiday season and continue to grow our impact, we're looking for passionate individuals to join our team in two key roles.

Workshop Facilitators (Corporate and School Sessions)

Location: Haymarket, Sydney (cost-covered travel required for workshops)

Start Date: End of Jan

Employment Type: Part-time, Casual

Are you passionate about sustainability and protecting our planet? Do you enjoy educating others and have a knack for connecting with all kinds of people? We want you!

We're seeking enthusiastic workshop facilitators to run our BRAD and environmental education sessions in corporate settings and schools. This role is ideal for someone who loves teaching and connection, and wants to inspire others to take action on waste reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading engaging BRAD recycling workshops for corporate teams and school groups.
• Educating participants on the importance of recycling and sustainability, and how they can get involved.
• Creating an interactive and fun learning environment that encourages sustainable practices.
• Representing Banish at events and workshops, helping to strengthen our community impact.
• Helping to run the day to day operations of our Sustainability Hub, assisting with recycling drop offs and packing online orders. 

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for making a positive environmental impact, particularly through education.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A background in education, sustainability, or a related field (preferred but not essential - we'll train you!)
• Ability to work with diverse groups and demographics, from corporate professionals to school-aged children. (Must have a WWCC)
