Want to be Recycling Champ and re-use your BRAD box?
Reuse your BRAD Mega Box and save $60 each time you return the contents for recycling. You simply empty the contents into your own box, return it using our courier paid service and go back to filling up your BRAD box for another round of recycling! Made of sturdy recyclable plastic, your BRAD box will keep its shape and structural integrity far better than any cardboard copy and is strong and sturdy enough to be reused up to 20 times before being recycled itself.

Unfortunately we do not accept the following:

- Plastic razors and blades
- Piksters and single use floss threaders
- Metal bottle tops
- Sponges and kitchen brushes
- Aerosol cans
- Perfume bottles
- Nail polish bottles and nail polish remover bottles
- Electronic items such as blow dryers and straighteners
- Bio-medical or bio-hazardous waste including syringes
- Glue sticks, pencils, erasers, rulers and cutting implements
Why does recycling cost money?
The fee for recycling with BRAD reflects the costs associated with recycling hard-to-recycle items, which require specialised processes and facilities. Your contribution enables us to sustainably manage and process these items in Australia, ensuring they are diverted from landfills and recycled responsibly.

What's the difference between BRAD Household Boxes & Mega Boxes?
While the individual pre-paid labels work well for households or very small groups, they’re not designed for larger workplaces or schools. Here’s why:
- Volume & practicality – Offices and community groups collect far more items. Multiple small parcels create unnecessary admin, postage waste, and higher costs compared to one central Mega Box.
- Efficiency for your team – The Mega Box provides a single, visible collection point that encourages staff participation and avoids confusion (“where do I put this?”).
- Environmental impact – Fewer shipments mean a smaller carbon footprint. Sending back many little boxes is less sustainable than one large return.
- Cost savings – One Mega Box holds around 1,750 items and can be reused up to 20 times. It’s far more cost-effective than buying dozens of small labels.
- Reporting & accountability – Corporate recycling requires impact reporting. With a Mega Box, we can track and provide your organisation’s results, which isn’t possible at scale with scattered small parcels.
