Supplier Stories: ASUVI a scent worth chasing

By Lottie Dalziel

When Thomas Richards couldn't find a deodorant that was good for his skin and good for the planet he set out to create his own. "I had a reaction to an aluminium based deodorant and didn't like the natural deodorants that were currently on the market. The weren't effective, lacked sophisticated scents and didn't have environmentally friendly packaging to match their "green" images."

After three years of planning, testing and testing again ASUVI was born, natural deodorant encased in a reusable tube made from 100% recycled plastic with the world's first biodegradable refillable deodorant.

"The aim of ASUVI is to create effective, stylish and sustainable products." The range which currently consists of four unisex scents is "pairing innovative natural science with enviro conscious packaging to create better products for people and the planet."

ASUVI are looking to become a B-corp in the next couple of years and power their operations from renewable energy. Their products are proudly vegan, palm-oil free, aluminium free and the refills are completely biodegradable. You can shop the full range here.
