Supplier Stories: Joco's not just for now but forever

Supplier Stories: Joco's not just for now but forever

By Sherron Dalziel

We may all now be jumping on the plastic "banned" wagon, but JOCO reusable cups were way ahead of the pack.

Way back in 2008, in Torquay Victoria, JOCO came into being. "It was through a personal protest to the eye-opening amount of plastic and single use waste that was being created by our daily routines." Said Matt Colegate, JOCO's founder. "We believed it was possible to experience life's luxuries without conceding taste, smart design or the natural environment."

The result? An amazing product that will be yours for a lifetime of use.

If a cup can be called beautiful, then these truly are. Beautifully designed and crafted in-house these handmade products are sourced from the highest quality eco-innovative resources to give us the consumer the optimum experience.

They are made from borosilicate glass (in other words the best.) The cute thermal sleeves come in a range of colours and the coffee cups are made from non-porous medical-grade silicone.

The cups are 100% plastic-free, certified non-toxic, antibacterial and dishwasher and microwave safe. Much time and effort have gone into the entire process and design so altogether you have the ultimate drinking vessel and drinking experience.

JOCO cups have been officially listed as the number one life-changing thing to try. "That was pretty cool!" said Matt, who still uses his original JOCO cup from the very first production run in 2009.

As far as other favourites go, the Velvet Grip Flask and the new 6oz cup are right up there with new additions on the way.

JOCO set out to prove that change can not only enhance our lives but it can empower us. "Since 2017, JOCO cup purchases have resulted in over 120,000 pieces of plastic being removed from our oceans". Matt proudly informed us.

The brand is now distributed worldwide and travels worldwide as it becomes part of our much loved daily ritual.

JOCO has been helping us create a better plastic and waste-free world for over 10 years now and it is this amazing early vision and continued commitment that can help us achieve change.

We can't wait to see what comes next from JOCO
