Seven years ago, if you'd told me that sharing my sustainability journey online would lead to educating people across Australia and beyond, I'm not sure I would have believed you.
But here we are! What started as simple social media posts turned into something much bigger – an ecommerce business, then a recycling program that grew so fast we had to move into an abandoned pharmacy to create Sydney's first Sustainability Hub. From there, we began transforming bottle tops into recycled products, running workshops, and teaching communities about sustainable living.
Today, we're operating from our own space at Central Station, creating innovative recycled products, processing more waste than ever, and helping more people understand how they can make a difference for our planet.
Throughout this entire journey, I've kept posting online – sharing tips, answering questions, and supporting others on their own sustainability paths. But here's the thing: after years of bringing reusable coffee cups everywhere, recycling correctly, thrifting, and composting, these habits have become second nature. Sometimes I forget what it was like at the beginning – the questions I had, the things that surprised me, the challenges I faced, and what I wished someone had taught me earlier.
