How to make your own all purpose cleaner from kitchen scraps

If you're anything like me you don't like throwing things away. So when I couldn't compost my citrus fruit I was at a loss of what to do with my leftover peel. Until I stumbled across this ingenious life hack.
Using this all-natural cleaner is easy to make and also reduces the use of nasty chemicals in your home.
I love to make big batches of this as it takes so long to ferment. When I'm collecting my citrus peels I put them in a container in the freezer to store until I have enough ready to begin.
What you'll need
Citrus peels - I like to use lemon but others prefer oranges, for this recipe I had 3 lemons worth.
200ml white vinegar
200ml water
Glass spray bottle
Initially place the citrus and vinegar into a jar. Screw the lid on firmly and leave for 2-4 weeks. When your ready to do the final step, strain the vinegar into a spray bottle and top up with an equal amount of water.
Spray it onto just about any surface and wipe away! This will last forever so keep on using it!
