Enchated Stamp Set

We have a new addition or our stamp collection a range Enchated stamps together with the cutouts. The top side of the stamp is engraved with a Enchanted character or item outline while the underside features the single layered laser engraved cutout which is thick enough to create a great impression in playdough, sand or similar material.  The cut-out outline can be used as a craft stencil developing fine motor skills to manipulate a pencil inside the space to draw the creature. Fantastic to engage independent play and exploration. What sensory base leaves the clearest impression? If you apply differ pressure how does the impression alter?

Educational Applications

Individual

Use at the play dough table or at the art area, encourage the child to make an artwork with the stamps, engage in conversation about what he/she is making, and discuss the Sea Life, where they live, what they do, etc.

Group Setting

Art group activity, could extend on the sustainability and look for natural resources to play such as sand, dirt, or make your own paints by crushing rocks. Great for educating about Sea Life names, and open discussions about Australian Wild Life.

Outdoors

Take out to the sand pit with little brushes and bury them get the children to carefully dig for the stamps then use them to create an Australian Sea LIfe scene in the sand.

Learning Opportunities 

Develops fine motor skills, develop creative skills such as inventiveness thinking and imagination.
