Why 0.5%? Research has shown that concentrations of bakuchiol between 0.5-2% are ideal to get visible benefits and that bakuchiol used at 0.5% twice daily performed similarly to 0.5% retinol once daily for wrinkle reduction and reducing hyperpigmentation. As is often the case, more is not always better. Le Lapin believes you should aim for a target concentration of 0.5% for daily use, despite it being a less popular option.

HOW TO USE
Each evening after cleansing, toning and moisturising, gently press 2-3 drops into the face & neck.

Although bakuchiol hasn’t been shown to increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight like retinol, Le Lapin recommend it is best applied at night and introduced slowly, especially if you have sensitive skin. While bakuchiol is positioned as a gentler alternative to retinol, it can still cause some irritation, itching, and redness.

If irritation occurs discontinue use. Store below 30°C.
